Supporting Veterans: Red Friday's Commitment to a Positive Transition
6/18/20241 min read
As a fellow veteran, I know you will get this: We get messages thanking us for making someone laugh or for a positive idea from us at the right time, so that they changed their mind, put the weapon down, and decided to live.
In 2025, Red Friday will identify supporting veterans as they transition into civilian lives. We understand that this transition can be challenging, and we are committed to suggesting meaningful opportunities and resources to help veterans thrive, such as our free online peer support and other no-charge programs.
We will continue to create a positive narrative, providing examples of what life could be through interviews, news, and other media.
We believe that volunteer service can play a crucial role in achieving this. By promoting volunteer opportunities, we aim to provide veterans with a sense of purpose, community engagement, and fulfillment.
In addition to supporting veterans, Red Friday is also focusing its efforts on volunteer fire departments in 2025.
Volunteer fire departments are facing manpower shortages, making it challenging to provide adequate emergency services. Red Friday aims to assist these departments by providing solutions to mitigate the shortages. We believe that by promoting volunteer fire departments as a way of volunteering for the veteran community, we can help ensure the safety and well-being of the veteran community and wider public community at the same time.
Thank you for your dedication, service, and willingness to support Red Friday's mission.
