Randall Arsenault

Randall Arsenault is a former 21-year veteran of Canada's largest municipal Police Service, where he served in various capacities, including Primary Response, Street Crime, and Community Relations.

As a Community Engagement Officer, he focused on building bridges and establishing relationships.

With experience in policing and a former role as Ontario Human Rights Commissioner (2020-2025), Randall brings a valuable perspective on the challenges faced by those in public service.

His background includes speaking at conferences on topics such as modern-day Policing and community engagement. His commitment to service is further underscored by his Service Above Self Award and Teamwork Commendations.

Randall's experience in law enforcement and his understanding of community dynamics make him a potential asset in supporting the Red Friday Talks mission of fostering resilience and wellness within the first responder community.

Dave Connor

Dave Connor retired as a District Chief with Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services after 35 years of service.

He initiated the MFES Peer Support program in 1989, receiving an Award of Merit from the International Association of Firefighters for his career long work in mental wellness.

Dave has trained hundreds of firefighters in mental health and leadership communication, and consults on workplace mental health best practices in the government, financial, education and public safety sectors.

He is an author, speaker and mental health, anti stigma, and peer support trainer. Dave serves as a member of the Anti Stigma table (Solicitor General) for the Fire Service and as Programs Director at RED Friday.

Bob McTaggart

Bob McTaggart is a veteran and the CTO of Improved Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. He is also deeply passionate about mental health through peer support and eliminating the stigma associated with Operational Stress Injuries (OSI).

Bob has lived experience with a diagnosed stress injury, which fuels his dedication to helping others. He is instrumental in building peer support teams with lived experience instructors at The Red Friday Talks, where he has been involved for over 10 years.

As the CEO of RED Friday Talks, he leads the organization's mission to empower Military, First Responders, and their communities with education, tools, and training to address psychological injuries.

Bob is also a Certified Peer Supporter through the RED Friday Organization. His extensive involvement with peer support, coupled with his personal experience and leadership within the RED Friday Talks, positions him as a central figure in the Red Friday Talks community.
